[...] CERRC - deployment of renewable energy projects Description Provides funding for renewable energy and capacity building projects and related energy efficiency measures in Indigenous, rural and remote communities across Canada. [...] Climate Change Preparedness in the North Program (for applicants north of 60th parallel) Description Provides support to northern communities and organizations to help them adapt to climate change impacts by funding the following types of projects: - vulnerability and risk assessment of climate change impacts - development of hazard maps and adaptation plans - development of adaptation options imp. [...] The utilization stream aims to support the research, development, and demonstration (RD&D) of CO2 utilization technologies that have the potential to significantly and meaningfully reduce the costs, as well as the energy and carbon intensity, of CO2 conversion and utilization into viable products and commodities for long-term or permanent sequestration of CO2 at a large scale.
