The power of a great idea : 2010 Killam annual lecture : the power of a great idea

The Trustees of the Killam Trusts were pleased to have as the 2010 Killam Lecturer Mike Lazaridis , President and Co-CEO of Research in Motion (RIM). During the course of the evening Mike regaled the audience with anecdotes from his own experiences. In his talk "The Power of a Great Idea", Mike outlined the process of how one goes about taking something as ethereal as an idea and creating a physical representation from it. The invention of the Blackberry was not only quite profitable, it revolutionized the way we do business and the way we interact with others. Mike explained how the essence of the idea was really quite simple and it eventually lead to many more, equally great collaborations and partnerships.
