The review will be limited to the protective actions taken by the RCMP in response to the incident on the grounds of Parliament Hill, and will not include any investigative elements or the RCMP actions within the House of Commons, with the exception of the specific actions taken to secure the Prime Minister and the National Division’s Emergency Response Team’s interventions. [...] This review will exclude anything pertaining to the RCMP’s operational response (as supported by the decision to limit the initial scope), and the gathering and sharing of any pre-incident information regarding the suspect, nor does it include an examination of the resourcing levels of the partner agencies.
