Over the course of the Plan, the VPD achieved a 27% reduction in the violent crime rate, thereby far exceeding the strategic target of a 12.5% reduction. [...] As such, the break & enters were predicted to occur in Patrol Districts 3 and 4, and the eastern portion of Patrol District 2 demands of the analysis to determine program (east of Clark Drive). [...] Priority Dependency Completion Status 4.1 - Expand the Safer Parking initiative to other areas of the city, and consider transitioning the administration of this program to the Centralized Operational Support Section (COSS), and under the Community Safety Personnel (CSP) Important None program. [...] In the Gastown and the Granville Entertainment District (GED), the total number of fights rose slightly (by 5%) with a slight increase in Gastown and a slight decrease in the GED.
