[...] We want Canada to be the best place to live with celiac disease! Thank you for your support and we look forward to being your partner in this lifelong journey. [...] Finally, we saw our State of Celiac Disease in Canada Health study receive an incredible 7,400 responses to help us learn more about your day-to-day health and steps we need to take to continue improving the health of over 400,000 Canadians. Every day is inspiring at CCA. [...] Our community includes over 45,000 people, all of whom benefit from our resources. We make education accessible to all people in Canada to help drive diagnosis and increase empowerment. [...] Incremental Medical Tax Claim Affordability and the cost of GF food is the number one concern for our community. [...] Closer to home, we invite our very own supporters and friends to take a bow and receive our heartfelt gratitude for the role you played in helping to ensure that every person in Canada with celiac disease is properly diagnosed and empowered to live a life of well-being free from fear and health insecurity. [...] Leading research and keeping abreast of the latest knowledge. Advocating with government to protect our food. [...] And the more people diagnosed will grow our community and help us accelerate towards treatment options and a higher quality of life. [...] The survey was open for 12 weeks and received a total of 7,491 responses, making it our biggest piece of research to date! The data, which will be released fall 2023, will help highlight any progress made in the past 20 years and continuing challenges surrounding life with this condition. [...] As an individual with celiac disease, it is important that others are aware of the disease and the impacts it can have on someone.
