AECL’s role is to act as an agent of the Government of Canada, to support governmental nuclear policy, and to oversee the development of our sites, which are operated by the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories. [...] Reporting to the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, AECL leverages the full potential of Canada’s expertise in nuclear science and technology to benefit Canadians. [...] AECL established an Accessibility Committee to create, monitor, and complete our Accessibility Plan and to ensure it meets the Accessible Canada Act. [...] Consultations To ensure this Annual Progress Report and our plans to improve accessibility at Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL) are reflective of the needs of people with disabilities, we consulted people with disabilities to develop this report.
