Jh1lU!e~ has secured a substantial measure of uniformity The exampie set by the state commissioners in the United States was followed in Canada when, on the recommendation of the Council of The Can- adian Bar Association, several of the provinces passed statutes pro- viding for the appointment of commissioners to attend ao inter- provincial conference for the purpose of promoting uniformity of leg. [...] In 1928 most of the time of the Conference was devoted to the discussion of the draft Bills of Sale Act and the draft Assignment of Book Debts Act, and both of these Acts were finally revised and approved.
