By statute, the Wilson Center Board of Trustees includes several ex officio members – the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, the Secretary of Education, the Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, the Librarian of Congress, and the Archivist of the United States — as well as nine members appointed by the Pres.
