Previously, from 2016-2018, I was a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Florida in the department of Anthropology and the department of Environmental & Global Health. [...] During the Covid-19 pandemic, I have been involved in research on lockdown policies in Haiti, Vietnam, Kenya, the Philippines and Uganda and vaccine policies in North America and Europe. [...] I am the first author of two of the papers, titled, “Was lockdown worth it? Community perspectives and experiences of the Covid-19 pandemic in remote southwestern Haiti” and “The effect of Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns on wet markets and food systems in Kenya, Philippines and Vietnam.” 13. [...] Bardosh was involved in the Ebola epidemic response in West Africa (2015), Zika in the Americas (2016) and Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo (2018-19). [...] During the Covid-19 pandemic, he led research on the social harms of lockdown policies in Haiti, Vietnam, Kenya, the Philippines and Uganda and on Covid-19 vaccination policy in North America, Europe and Africa.
