The Settlement Practitioner provides settlement services for newcomers under the IRCC project themes: a) Needs Assessments and Referrals; b) Information and Orientation; c) employment related services; and d) Community Connections. [...] Key Duties & Responsibilities: Performs needs assessment for newcomers and their family members and develop pre-arrival action plan based on identified needs Provides one-on-one consultation online, by phone or via email to address individual settlement/employment needs and helps them make informed settlement decisions Plans and organizes group sessions so as to familiarize the new immigrant. [...] Conducts and/or moderates orientation and workshops on specific settlement/employment subjects to immigrant clients Works with community service providers in Canada to deliver webinars on topics, such as school system, and health care resources Connects clients with AEIP Canadian Partner for one-on-one consultation on provincial specific preparation prior to departing to Canada Follow ups.
