6 Submission to Session 44 of the Universal Periodic Review on the Right to Information in Canada Recommendations § The offices of the Prime Minister and Ministers and the administrative institutions that support Parliament and the courts should be subject to reactive disclosure obligations under the ATIA, and all other public authorities, as well as private bodies which undertake public functions. [...] For example, section 107 of the Customs Act prohibits the disclosure of any information obtained by or on behalf of either the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness or the Minister of National Revenue involving customs or the collection of public debts.
