Where the report is not directly to the DHRA, the Supervisor or Person of Authority who received the report shall report the incident to the DHRA. [...] When a concern has been brought to a member of the University community, they are encouraged to give the complainant a copy of the Violence Prevention Policy and Procedures and assist the complainant in contacting the DHRA. [...] Where the respondent is a member of PEC, the Chairperson of the Board of Governors of Brandon University will normally be involved in the resolution of the complaint. [...] After a review of the Report of Findings, the appropriate administrators meet with the complainant to inform them, in writing, of the results of the investigation. [...] Every member of the University community is expected to respect the rights and responsibilities of academic freedom and freedom of thought, inquiry and expression and to support the University’s efforts to ensure that the working and learning environment is free of violence.
