WHY IS THIS ROLE IMPORTANT? Reporting to President and Chief Executive Officer and serving as a member of the management team, the Financial Controller contributes to the overall success of CUTA by effectively providing leadership and oversight to the finance department by overseeing day to day operations. [...] You will review and update the forecast and develop a finalized budget in accordance with projections and know how to build and utilize financial models to inform decision-making. [...] This role will contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic direction for the Association to ensure the highest quality of services to our members and will establish, foster, and maintain positive relationships with our stakeholders. [...] WHAT YOU'LL DO FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS • Leading the financial planning and analysis in partnership with the Senior management team in planning, forecasting and reporting (annually, quarterly and monthly), and other key financial metrics to support business initiatives and continuous improvement to increase financial performance. [...] • Develops and maintains timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for users in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) • Develops, implements, and ensures compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
