Under the direction of the Town Manager, the Water/Wastewater Supervisor will be in charge of the management and implementation of work and the achievement of the objectives for the Water and Wastewater operations, which includes compliance with legislation, policies and protection of public health and safety; meeting or exceeding Provincial Water and Wastewater Standards; achieving Drinking Water. [...] The Town’s water treatment and distribution is comprised of a Class III Water Treatment Plant, several ponds and dams for storage reservoir, and approx. [...] The Town is currently in the 2nd phase of a multi- phase program which will involve an expansion of the current system and the installation of new lift stations and treated outfall points with both primary and secondary treatment. [...] In order to qualify for the Water Wastewater Supervisor role, you will need a minimum of 5 years of experience in the water and wastewater field with 3 - 5 years of experience in a supervisory position.
