Some of the changes that have occurred related to the happenings during the last three years have been changes to the Long-Term Care Act and Regulations. [...] Pioneer Ridge has been working hard to ensure the Home complies with the new regulations and the team is working through each new regulation to ensure that the required changes are in place. [...] As a result, we are implementing modifications to the dining area to be more noise friendly in the hopes of decreasing overall noise levels and increasing pleasurable dining for the residents. [...] A contractor was awarded the contract to replace the doors near the elevators on home area 2 and that work will begin later in the spring.
