OVERVIEW 2.1 REPOSITORY CONCEPT The main features of the conceptual repository are as follows (see also Figure 1.1): The repository is located at a depth of 500 m below surface in the sedimentary rock of the Michigan Basin formation comprised of shale and limestone lithologies.
