[...] In Ontario, for instance, the shelter component of the RAP allowance for a couple with two children is $795 out of a total RAP income of $1439, but in the Toronto CMA the low-end-of-market rent for the 3-bedroom apartment that the family would need if their children were of different sexes and age ranges is $1300.
