[...] Alcohol is a factor in at least 38% of water- The data collected by the Canadian Red Cross also clearly point to the related fatalities of largest number of water-related fatalities for men between the ages 15-34, and men overall account for 83 per cent of all water-related individuals over 15 fatalities. [...] Less than 50 per cent of contributed to at least Canadians who own a boat always wear their lifejackets, even though 39% of deaths 82 per cent believe it is a legal requirement, and only 14 per cent of Canadians keep lifejackets on the boat.
