The Centre for Security, Intelligence, and Defence Studies (CSIDS) is situated within the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) and serves as the Headquarters of the Canadian Defence and Security Network – Réseau Canadien de Securité et Defence (CDSN-RCDS). The Centre’s mandate is to enhance collaboration with academics, the public and private sectors, civil society groups, the media, and the general public in order to foster informed debate and dialogue about Canadian security and defence and to advance the study of key issues in the field of security, intelligence], and defence.
