The York Consortium on International and Security Studies (YCISS) supports and promotes two event series, an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal, a graduate research award and a graduate diploma in international and security studies. All of these were originally administered by the York Centre for International and Security Studies which was dedicated to the production and promotion of critical knowledge on security within local, national, international and global contexts.
