If the successful applicant does return to his/her former position within the trial period, the Board will make use of the applications from the original posting for the purpose of filling the vacancy, without any additional posting of the position. [...] ARTICLE 18 - UP-GRADE TRAINING (a) In the event of any employee taking a course of instruction or attending a workshop/conference with prior approval of the Board, in order that the employee will be better qualified to perform his/her job, the Board will, on the employee's successful completion of the ourse/workshop/conference, reimburse the employee in the full amount of the tuition/registration.
