Request for Proposals Consultant An Introduction to Gender-Based Analysis (GBA) Plus: Principles

The course should provide foundational knowledge on the GBA plus framework, explain the relevance to the immigrant and refugee-serving sector, and provide tangible examples for application. [...] This course is part of the Addressing Inequities and Advancing Gender Equality Project, which seeks to enhance the capacity of the national newcomer-serving sector to mainstream GBA Plus principles, practices, and policies across Service Provider Organizations (SPOs). [...] The project seeks to build and enhance GBA Plus capacity across the national immigrant and refugee serving sector through the creation of tailored resources, training, and tools. [...] The objectives of the modules must integrate a minimum of the following: - What is GBA Plus and what does it mean to use a GBA Plus lens? o Brief contextualizing history of the GBA Plus framework - Why is GBA Plus important in the immigrant and refugee-serving sector? o Emphasis on interculturalism and intersectionality o Examples that consider the diversities of the national newcomer-serving sect.
