[...] Saskatchewan and Manitoba did not have integrated child exploitation (ICE) units in operation at the time of the evaluation, and, although requested, the representative from British Columbia was involved in a number of operational files at the time of the evaluation and was therefore unable to participate within the timeframe of the evaluation. [...] Finally, the evaluation examined the appropriateness of the federal government role and its partners in the Strategy and whether there are other stakeholders, such as other levels of government or the private and voluntary sectors, which can assume responsibility for achieving some of the objectives.
