The Governtm neeneds to ensure the creation of an environment that is supportive of the transfotiromna of the CWB. [...] The Government fully assume the current levf eclo ontributions of the CWB to the Canadian International Grains Institute (CIGI), Cadainan Malting Barley Technical Centre (CMBTC) and the Western Grain Research Faotuionnd (WGRF) for a period of 3 years during which time these institutions would a bseked to develop alternate funding arrangements to be implemented in the fourth year. [...] The existing CWB may have to exercise restrainetn itne ring into contracts that make commitments beyond the date of termination of thoen ompoly, to avoid a liability for the CWB II that it is unable to fulfil in the choice veinronment. [...] Forming CWB II – Period B (From the date of Royal Assent of the new Act until marketing choice begins for wheat) Period B covers the time frame from the date of aRl oAyssent of the new Act to the effective date of marketing choice for wheat at the begin noifn Pgeriod C.
