[...] Proposed Nova Scotia Food Costing Model Based on the analysis of the key informant interviews, feedback from the Nova Scotia stakeholders, and the experiences of the Participatory Food Security Projects, an ongoing participatory model for food costing in Nova Scotia was developed. [...] Recent research by the NS Participatory Food Security Projects confirmed the need for a mechanism that supports ongoing food costing in Nova Scotia to address the root causes of food insecurity and inform policy and programs that build food security.
