Two key approaches to harm reduction are (1) supervised consumption and overdose prevention services, and (2) increased access to prescribed safer supply. The two audits here looked at whether the the Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions and the Ministry of Health effectively implemented overdose prevention and supervised consumption services, and the initial phase of prescribed safer supply.
