[...] • Antonio question – Due to the dramatic increase in the cost of materials and supplies, is Skilled trades going to increase funding per student to reflect these increases- No answer currently. [...] The Roofing Contractors’ Association is a proud supporter of the Architectural Sheet Metal Worker program and is appreciative of the continued support from RCABC members, the Roofing and Architectural Sheet Metal industry and Skilled Trades BC. [...] The Board started 2022 with 523 active apprentices and finished the year with just over 600, an increase of 13% and is the 3rd largest sponsor of a single trade in the province of BC. [...] With the care of the trustees and commitment of the staff there is a strong rudder in this sea of instability.
