The intent of this guide is to support RNs and NPs to attain and maintain the necessary knowledge and skills required in telenursing in order to provide safe, competent, compassionate and ethical care. [...] Given this, it is the responsibility of the practising RN to ensure that her/his employer has put policies and mechanisms in place to address potential client concerns about the practice of registered nurses and support clients access to information related to licensing.
