An Action PlAn to Reduce And eliminAte PoveRty in the noRthwest teRRitoRies MINIsTER’s MEssAGE In June 2013, with the tabling of Building on the Strengths of Northerners, I committed to the development of a multi- stakeholder Territorial Action Plan to tackle poverty in the Northwest Territories. [...] I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the development of this document: the many people across the North who participated in consultations, delegates at the two Round Tables, and particularly the members of the Ministerial Anti- Poverty Advisory Committee for their hard work in leading the development of this Plan.
