For example, the median amount of debt financing authorised for innovative SMEs was CAD$ 20 000, indicating that 50 percent of innovative SMEs received less than CAD$ 20 000 and 50 percent of innovative SMEs received more than CAN$ 20 000, whereas the average amount of debt financing authorised for innovative SMEs was CAD$ 51 181.
