The main focus of the recycling industry includes PET, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP), and the locations of the recycling facilities are predominantly in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia, where the plastic waste feedstock is more accessible (ECCC 2019a).
