- Bachelors Degree in Education is an asset 2
- TESL Canada andor TESOL certificate or equivalent certification 2
- Minimum of 600 hours ESL teaching experience or completion of a supervised teaching practicum as a part of TESLTESOL training program 2
- Minimum of 1 years adult teaching experience 2
- Experience in settlementadaptation services is an asset 2
- Experience in the social services sector is an asset 2
- Experience with multicultural clientele and immigrant related services 2
- Knowledge of community resources for newcomers to Canada 2
- Knowledge of intercultural and social issues 2
- Knowledge of CLB-based language programs ELSALINC 2
- Knowledge of basic principles of classroom crisis management 2
