Untitled ANNUAL REPORT 2019/20 WHO WE ARE Resilience Then and Now As we began to face the pandemic and its unprecedented challenges in March 2020, the Ending Violence Association of BC (EVA BC) rallied to support its members and the clients they serve. [...] In the final few months of this fiscal year, the across the province — even, and especially, COVID-19 pandemic forced EVA BC and the during times of crisis. [...] The Board applauds the determined labours of EVA BC’s membership in their efforts Over the past year, the Board of Directors met to improve services and the experiences of regularly, twice in person and several times via survivors, who inspire us all with their courage and teleconference. [...] Once we began to meet with the Province and the project’s advisory committee, EVA BC proposed that in keeping with numerous calls for justice for Indigenous women, we split the fund down the middle and designate a full half of the fund for Indigenous communities. [...] This project related to the links between animal abuse and worked to address gender-based violence and domestic and sexual violence, revising information- its implications for women’s health and safety sharing and privacy policies, and increasing links in the workplace in three distinct sectors in to coordination initiatives.
