The driver would open two doors at the rear of the wagon and use a broom handle with a nail in it to reach in and pluck out the loaves and put them into a huge basket. [...] When this happened and the sea in the area dropped, the water in some areas drained away and the levels dropped a frightening thirty feet, exposing the bottoms of some harbours and leaving scores of fishing boats aground. [...] When the posse was chasing the bad guys, and this happened frequently, the tempo would be stepped up to suit the action on the screen, but often the stamping of feet and the shouting of encouragement to the riders would drown out the sound of the piano. [...] With the arrival of television in 1954 people began staying home for entertainment and as attendance dropped off, the nine theaters in the city, the Paramount, the Capital, the York (formerly known at The Queen), the Crescent, the Popular Star, the Majestic, the Cornwall, the Nickel and the Regal (formerly known as the Little Star), gradually closed their doors one final time. [...] In the theater, two projectors show the two films simultaneously and with special niters on the projectors and the audience wearing Polaroid glasses, the left eye sees what the left 22 FRANK], KENNEDY camera "saw" and the right eye what the right camera "saw".
