It includes an analysis of the recent economic shocks that have impacted the global and Canadian economy and provides updated employment and GDP forecasts for the Canadian economy overall, the digital economy, and six key innovation areas: cleantech, agri-foods and food tech, interactive digital media, advanced manufacturing, clean resources, and health and biotech. [...] For the fiscal 2020-21, the Government of Canada introduced measures to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19 and the ability of employers to hire PSE students.
