The grant we receive is used to provide a small amount of core funding to our 27 member Centres across the country and cover the staff salaries and expenses of the National Office. [...] In light of the current reality the IL Canada Board and the IL Centres felt that it was important to bring everyone together and to have our 2012 AGM focused on where we go from here, what do we need to do and /or are capable of doing in order for IL Canada to be able to continue. [...] To continue to be successful, IL Canada and the IL Centres must stay committed to keeping our organization thriving and working in new and innovative ways. [...] At the start of the year, our fund balance was in a deficit of $264,069 and at the end of the year March 31, 2013 our fund balance is in a deficit of $68.991. [...] The work of IL Canada would not be possible without the contributions of our funders to which I would like to express a sincere thank you for your continued support and belief in our organization.
