[...] Additional persuasive examples include: The Vancouver City Council has also unanimously passed a similar resolution to endorse the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, calling on the Government of Canada to sign and ratify the treaty. [...] The City of Vancouver also recently endorsed the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty and asked that a letter be sent to the Premier of BC and the Prime Minister, urging them to do the same.
