I have to kind of watch myself, and I laugh sometimes when I go to the rink and it's like I’ve reverted back to this language that I can't really do that in the hospital or in the real world. [...] And I think in the pandemic I have seen the best of people and the worst of people, and sometimes in the same person depending on the situation in the moment. [...] And I think one of the greatest gifts that we could give back to our country is the ability to encourage people to get moving, and to be able to watch our best athletes perform and excel on the world stage. [...] And so this is something I wrestle with because I most of what I have in my life is through the Olympic games, yet I find at the very highest level of the IOC much of it is frustrating to delve through the politics of sport. [...] And so one of the things, one of the kind of moments that illustrates that was the Vancouver Olympics in 2010, where the media, again back to this media and psychology, they kept talking to a lot of Olympic athletes in the country.
