Conferences/workshops – CRS supported the annual conferences of the Canadian Association of Refugee and Forced Migration Studies (CARFMS) in May 2017 in Victoria, and the CRS Student Conference in September 2017. [...] In October of 2017 CRS hosted a workshop and discussion on “Transitioning to Month 13 and ‘Post-Sponsorship’” with the support of the Refugee Sponsorship Training Program and City of Toronto Employment and Social Services and a well-attended reception for all sponsors in the wider Ryerson University Lifeline Syria Challenge.
