[...] This goal seeks to provide a response to the underlying direct and indirect ecsa uosf biodiversity loss relating to the lack of awareness and knowledge on the values and potse notfi abliodiversity, the weak import of science to inform decision making and productiont teprnas, the demographic trend, urbanisation and poverty and the pressures fromir itnhcereasing demands for biodiversity with unsusta. [...] In view of the cross sectoral na ture 4 in dealing with biodiversity issues, an inter-seraclt ogroup of experts designated by Ministers dliyre ct in the use and management of biodiversity, was paulsto in place per the Order of the Minister and charged with providing the technical guidance hfoer rtevision of the NBSAP.
