In the end the Conference resolved to rece ive the Report of the Working Group and tha t the Working Group review the m ost recent dra ft of the Uniform Enforcement of Foreign Judgments Act in the ligh t of the de libera tions of the Section and prepare a revised Act, with com m entaries for considera tion a t the 2001 Conference where the dra ft m ay be reconsidered to the exten t necessa ry in t. [...] The Conference resolved to rece ive the report and endorse the e fforts of the LCC carrying forward this topic as pa rt of the Com m ercia l Law Stra tegy and as it d id so requested tha t the LCC take in to account the Conference’s com m ents, suggestions and de libera tions as it carries its work forward and tha t it m ainta in a close lia ison with the Nationa l Coord ina tor of the Com m ercia. [...] In the end , the Section resolved tha t the Stee ring Com m ittee of the Com m ercia l Law Stra tegy be requested to consider further the issues ra ised in Professor Ziege l’s report in ligh t of the de libera tions of the section and to identify and m ake recom m enda tions to the stee ring com m ittee of the Civil Section respecting options to address them and take other appropria te steps to ad. [...] The consensus of the m ee ting was tha t the project should proceed and it was resolved tha t the Stee ring Com m ittees of the Civil Law Section and of the Com m ercia l Law Stra tegy join tly continue to seek a ju risd ictional leader to assum e carriage of th is p roject and take appropria te next steps to m ove it forward including, if appropria te the possible establishm ent of a Working Grou. [...] Lown advised the m ee ting that section 19 of the Uniform Wills Act adopted by the Conference in 1987 a llows the court to ignore non- com pliance with the form alities of execution of a will if the court is sa tisfied tha t a will em bodies the testa tors in ten tion.
