How do we make use of the innovation and lessons learned from the experience of the Canadian and international evaluation community in order to benefit local interventions? This is the driving question behind the 2023 Canadian Evaluation Society conference which will provide an opportunity to reflect on the state of the evaluation practice through the theme “Evaluation in a Changing World”. [...] According to the southern Alberta Farmer and podcast host, these women have always been the backbone of the industry, whether it be working in the field or the home, but now are finding the courage to speak up and share their stories. [...] • Changing the narrative: Women have been instrumental in raising awareness of the risks to the climate and the environment posed by human activities. [...] She works to increase awareness of the dangers of traditional cooking methods and to improve the health of women and children. [...] In response, together with CORAF | West and Central African Council for Agricultural Research and Development, AICCRA hosted a workshop designed to develop women’s leadership in agriculture and climate research, and to promote their access to decision-making positions in regional, and national research, extension, and advisory organizations.
