As part of the National Housing Strategy, the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC, originally known as the Central Mortgage and Housing Corporation) has specifically prioritized housing for racialized people.2 As such, the FHA has a unique opportunity to set the course for access to housing, security of tenure, and the eradication of discrimination in housing nationwide.
