Supporting Public Health Human Resource Planning: A Survey of Canadian Universities’ Public Health Training Programs

This document presents the results of data collection conducted in 2022 by the National Collaborating Center for Healthy Public Policy and the National Collaborating Center for Methods and Tools on programs and students enrolled and graduates of university public health programs in Canada. Also, it recalls the main results of four previous data collections conducted since 2005 on these programs and offers an overview of the pan-Canadian initiatives developed in the area of public health workforce planning in Canada. The content of this document is intended to inform ongoing discussions about planning for this workforce and building its capacity.
