MONITOR – 2022 2022 Report of the Technical Committee on Monitoring Day 1 The Technical Committee MONITOR held two in-person (with three members participating virtually) business meetings on September 25 and 28, 2022, in Busan, Korea and virtual. [...] Sixteen session and 11 workshop proposals were submitted and reviewed by MONITOR members based on the following criteria: (1) Relevance to PICES-2023 Scope, (2) Quality of proposal, and (3) Does your Committee Sponsors this proposal? Scope: PICES-2023 occurs just a few years into the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development and is a chance to assess PICES progress to date.
