Council Announcements Councillor Cilevitz advised that January 27th is the annual International Holocaust Remembrance Day and provided a brief history of the significance of this day and why it was chosen to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust, highlighting its importance within the current global climate. [...] Adoption of Agenda Moved by: Regional and Local Councillor Chan Seconded by: Councillor Liu That the agenda be adopted as distributed by the Clerk with the following additions: a) Correspondence regarding the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision Applications submitted by 2539144 Ontario Inc. [...] Shen advised of the impact the proposed development would have on their daily lives, noted her concerns with the notification and communication with the existing residents regarding the applications, expressed the importance of preserving the mature tree on the property, and requested that the opinions of area residents be taken into consideration.
