LAND DEVELOPMENT PLANNER Regular Full Time

The Land Development Planner reports to the Director, City Lands & Real Estate and is responsible for assessing and evaluating City-owned development land inventories, preparing and managing development applications, initiating and developing proposals, and contributing to the preparation of strategies, development plans and prese. [...] This position establishes and maintains contact with members of the public, developers, investors, consultants and other civic departments and prepares and maintains a variety of records, reports, correspondence and documents related to the work. [...] This role will be part of a highly collaborative and skilled team and is responsible for the development planning and delivery of a very significant strategic land portfolio. [...] From master planning, site evaluation and subdivision planning, servicing and road construction, to the rezoning and delivery of the lands, this is an opportunity to bring your years of development and planning experience to the City’s land development team.
