[...] It is the responsibility of the dam owners, operators, and appropriate jurisdictional agencies to conduct the necessary dam inspections and maintenance to ensure the safety and security of the dams. [...] Turbidity Unfortunately, similar to the pH sensor, the turbidity readings are not reliable due to the absence of calibration, fouling from the environment and the lack of data from the period of April to May. [...] Then, because the obstruction of the sensor continued beyond the causal event, the turbidity readings at the site remained elevated until the next scheduled site visit when the sensor was switched out.
