ARTICLE 2 - RECOGNITION OF MANAGEMENT 2.01 Management Rights (a) The Union recognizes that the management of the operation of the Employer, including the determination of methods of operation and the direction and strength of the work force, is vested exclusively in the Employer and that the Employer may make and alter from time- to-time, rules, regulations and schedules to be observed by the empl. [...] 12.04 Decision of the Board of Arbitration The decision of the majority shall be the decision of the Board of Arbitration. [...] To this end an arbitrator shall have the power to allow all necessary amendments to the grievance and the power to waive formal procedural irregularities in the processing of a grievance in order to determine the real matter in dispute and to render a decision according to equitable principles and the justice of the case.
