Centre interuniversitaire sur le risque, les politiques économiques et l'emploi

The CRREP (Centre for Research on Risks, Economic Issues, and Public Policies) has the dual mission of contributing to the analysis of the main economic and financial issues in Quebec and elsewhere, and to assess the capacity of policies public and regulatory authorities to respond effectively to these challenges. Systematically, CRREP's research programming revolves around two strongly integrated research axes allowing the analysis of current issues to overlap with the analysis of public policies and regulations. Each axis is under the responsibility of an axis director. The CRREP takes over from CIRPÉE, which until 2014 benefited from funding from the FQRSC under the Strategic Regroupings program. CRREP is a research center recognized by the Laval University Research Commission. Its members come from the economics department of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Laval University, of the finance, insurance and real estate department of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences of Laval University, of the applied economics department. at HEC Montréal, and the Department of Economics at UQAM.
